So over the past hour or so it seems like a massive lag tsunami has hit GW. In a game of AB just before 7 people loaded into my team, and about 8 into the opposing team, been like this consistently for the past 30 mins or so.

Anybody else or just AB?

I got pretty bad lag about 1 1/2 hours ago, I was in FA and I got DCed 3 times usually taking over 3 mins to reconnect. Figured it was just my connection :\

Got Dc'ed twice doing maptravel and the lag was bad.I would start a fight be pushing buttons then my character would just sit there and then wham everything was dead or I was LOL was like a bad b movie cliff hanger "WILL OUR HERO SURVIVE?" find out next week.

I was getting pretty bad lag in AB a few hours ago and it looked like everyone was having the same problem. Thought it was just me but my alliance was also having lag troubles.

I was getting random lag spikes also (alongside my fiancee as well). It was really annoying since we were trying to "farm" our Pillaged Goods. :\

Side Note: This shit is so epic that my teams keep getting d/ced or we all just say red engine it and logoff. It is affecting your playerbase A-Net. Hint hint if you care.

3k - 7k average pings is pure win. Disconnects are even better. I don't know when the last time I've even seen the blue "You have been playing for 1 hour" message. If they changed it to 15 minutes, I might actually feel like Arenanet cares and attemt to play for a few hours.

If Arenanet feels that a possible problem for this lag is p2p related, then they should disable the friends list for a weekend to test the results. Whatever the problem is, they need to say and do something. This has gone on for far too long. "30 minutes", "40 minutes"? I think not. Try months on end. I can't even watch an observer's match without the game pressing its own pause button.

800-1500ms average on US/216.xxx servers last few hours, typically <400ms on US and <150ms Euro/206.xxx servers.

Can't even get a connection to the login/character servers atm.

I had experienced some lag like this around midday yesterday, and it was off and on over possibly an hour or so long period.

Been sitting on a "Connecting..." popup on the login page for ~10mins now, so I checked my routing to the login auth server 206.127.147.154

Yeah, been getting a few random lag spikes. Really annoying when you're on a 10+ streak in RA and suddenly your team's basically 3v4 because someone's lagged or you've lagged. Was walking about today and suddenly my ping spiked to 18000ms. Don't want to blame Anet but there must be something on their end as well.

My lag in GW has always been terrible even with high speed internet. Usually spikes to 375ms on American servers and when there are issues like we experienced over the weekend it spikes to 600ms-1500ms.

You really can't even play the ranger or mesmer class effectively with the game's high ping.

GW servers have been going down the hole for a few months now, and i think its because they focus mostly on GW2 rather than focus on issues here in GW1, GW2 better be worth it.

The server lag has been happening since summer of '09 from what ive seen.
